Above is the triggering plate for the lightspeed plasma II. DO NOT CUT THE CABLE!!! I cut it to fit it through the firewall and soldered it back together. I felt I did a very good job however, it started to bug me so I called Light Speed. They told me I shouldn't have cut it. I explained my thought process and they explained that if I needed to replace the unit for some reason in the field they could ship out another one and I could just change it if the cable was fed through an opening in the firewall where it didn't need to be cut. Could you imagine trying to solder this thing away from home under the panel. I removed the unit and paid the 90$ for them to repair with a new cable.
