The
Isuzu stake bed was just wide enough to carry the fuse to Cable. 22 mile trip
from my house. Very secure ride with no problems. Used only ramps for the main
wheels so the nose wheel could drop down and keep the the tail from hitting
the ground. |

Parked
in the EAA 448 Hanger. I felt bad leaving her there after having her in my garage
for a year. I guess I was having some separation anxiety! |

Mounted
the engine! Wasn't as bad as some had made it out to be. Had it on before lunch.
Note: Started by putting the bottom mounts in first. Make sure you put the top
mounts that go between the engine and the mount in place before getting the
nuts started on the bottom bolts. There was not enough room to squeeze them
in and I ended up undoing the bottom ones to make room. |

Mounted
the Vans supplied Vetterman exhaust. Some assembly required. You have to
trim two of the pipes on the 0320. It comes ready to install on the 0360.
You end up removing about an inch from the end of the two pipes that slide
inside the ones that match it on the other side. They have already marked
the pipes for you to cut. I used an air motor and a composite cutoff wheel. |

Looks
Good! Everyone seems to like the red paint job. Before mounting the exhaust
I mounted the carb and the control linkage plate that goes between the carb
and the sump. |

Close
up of the exhaust system. I started to work on the hangers but, decided to wait
until the cowl was on to check clearance. |

Some shots of the back
of the engine. With the EI flow transducer mounted in this location I can
use the Vans FWF supplied fuel line. This is where things start getting
a little tight. |
